FSX Def. Pan American Grumman Goose Island Hopers Textures. Repaint By The Fox's Hangar.
In 1937, the Grumman Model G-21 was designed as a light amphibian transport. The typical Grumman rugged construction was matched to an all-metal, high-winged monoplane powered by two 450-horsepower Pratt and Whitney Wasp Jr. nine-cylinder, air-cooled radial engines mounted on the leading edge of high-set wings. The deep fuselage served also as a hull and was equipped with hand-cranked retractable landing gear. The fuselage also proved versatile as it provided generous interior space that allowed fitting for either a transport or luxury airliner role. Having an amphibious configuration also allowed the G-21 to go just about anywhere, and elaborate plans were made to market it as a amphibian airliner.
FSX only Grumman Goose, Coast Guard repaint By The Fox's Hangar.
The Grumman Goose is one of my favorite aircraft in FSX. I was doing a flight near Victoria in British Columbia with the Goose and thought This airplane would look good in a U.S. Coast Guard paint job. So this is my first successful repaint of an FSX def. Aircraft.

FS 2004 Piper J3 Cub D-day Repaint and panel
The Piper J-3 Cub is a small, simple, light aircraft that was built between 1937 and 1947 by Piper Aircraft. With tandem (fore and aft) seating, it was intended for flight training but became one of the most popular and best-known light aircraft of all time. The Cub's simplicity, affordability and popularity invokes comparisons to the Ford Model T automobile. Its standard yellow paint has come to be known as “Cub Yellow” or "Lock Haven Yellow."
FS2004 U.S. Navy Sikorsky VS-44. Repaint by Dan Christian
Sikorsky VS-44 were large four-engined USA flying boats built to compete in the transatlantic air travel trade carrying 40 or more passengers across the Atlantic Ocean. Only 3 were produced. World War II had begun, though, putting civilian transatlantic air service on hold. Now under a Navy contract and with the Navy designation JR2S-1, AEA’s three VS-44’s continued flying between New York, New York and Foynes, Ireland, carrying passengers, freight and war materiel. The first VS-44, Excalibur crashed on takeoff in 1942, ending her life early

Early 1950's Continental Boeing 377.
Repaint By The Fox's Hangar. Like the C-97, the 377 was developed towards the end of World War II by adapting an enlarged upper fuselage onto the lower fuselage and wings which were essentially the same as the B-50 Superfortress, the high-performance evolution of the B-29 Superfortress bomber. The 377 was larger and longer ranged than the Lockheed Constellation and Douglas DC-7, with nonstop transatlantic range, but the P&W R-4360 Wasp Major engines proved uneconomical, with production ending in 1950. 6600 cubic feet of interior space was provided by the “inverted-figure-8” doubledeck fuselage design. It offered seating of over 100 passengers, or sleeping berths for up to 28 berthed and five seated passengers. It first flew on July 8, 1947. It had the speed and range to span ocean routes, enabling flying from New York to Hawaii in less than 24 hours. Pressurization (previously introduced on the previous Boeing Stratocruiser and also designed into the B-29) allowed breathing sea-level while at an altitude of 15,500 feet. At 25,000 passengers enjoyed a “cabin altitude” of only 5500 feet.

FS2004 1950's VIP Continental Howard 500
Repaint By The Fox;s Fangar. The Howard 500 was an executive transport aircraft produced in the United States in the early 1960s. During the 1950s and 60s, Howard Aero had been remanufacturing military surplus Lockheed Lodestars and Lockheed Venturas for the executive market, but while the Howard 500 bore a strong resemblance to these aircraft, it was a substantially new design, and all 500s had completely new airframes. The only major components taken directly from its Lockheed forebears were the outer wing panels (from surplus Venturas) and undercarriage (from Harpoons). Howard purchased wing and fuselage jigs from Lockheed to use as patterns for jigs for the new aircraft. The fuselage differed from the Ventura's in being designed from the outset for pressurisation, and the wings were designed wet. The engine chosen was a new, higher-power and lighter-weight version of the Pratt & Whitney R-2800 that had been developed for the Douglas DC-6. Propeller hubs were taken from F4U Corsairs, propeller blades from DC-7s or Lockheed Constellations, and spinners from DC-7s.The prototype flew in September 1959, and certification was achieved in February 1963. By this time, however, the executive market was already dominated by turboprop aircraft, and although its performance was comparable to (or even better than) these new machines, and its price substantially lower, the Howard 500 could not effectively penetrate the market. Of the 17 examples built, one beautifully restored aircraft remains flying in 2008 (construction number 500-105, registration N500HP) with the Phillippi Equipment Company. This machine was awarded Grand Champion at EAA AirVenture Oshkosh in 1997.An important historical footnote: Dee Howard is not related to Benny Howard, racing pilot and aircraft designer of the DGA series of two

FS2004 Def. 1950's Continental Douglas DC-3
Rpaint By The Fox's Hangar. The Douglas DC-3 is an American fixed-wing, propeller-driven aircraft whose speed and range revolutionized air transport in the 1930s and 1940s. Because of its lasting impact on the airline industry and World War II, it is generally regarded as one of the most significant transport aircraft ever made.
